Chief Operating Officer
Lee Bauman is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Select Energy Services, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in the electric utility industry. He began his career as a Substation Technician after earning a degree in Electric Power Utility Technology and completing his apprenticeship through Power Systems Institute / FirstEnergy.
Lee has held progressive technical and leadership roles with ABB, HD Supply Utilities (later Anixter) and Sicame where he served in multiple senior leadership positions. His work included leading national materials management and procurement programs for utility partners across the United States.
In 2017, Lee founded Select Energy Services to deliver strategic utility sales representation and field materials management solutions. He later expanded the company’s capabilities by adding additional operations and procurement leadership, strengthening its ability to serve clients nationwide.

Vice President of Operations
Michael Bauman is Vice President of Operations at Select Energy Services, with over 20 years of experience in operations, procurement, supply management, and inventory control across multiple industries. He has held key roles with companies including Siemens, ThyssenKrupp, U.S. Steel, and Alcoa, building a strong record of operational excellence and supply chain leadership.
Prior to Select Energy Services, Michael led high-impact operational turnarounds and managed complex procurement and materials programs for large-scale manufacturing and telecommunications projects. Since joining Select Energy Services in 2020, he has strengthened the company’s operational capabilities, driving efficiency, reliability, and exceptional client service.
